An NVR (Network Video Recorder) works with IP cameras using CAT6 network cable — including PoE (Power over Ethernet) which combines power and data in a single cable, making installation simpler. For 5–8 camera systems we typically recommend either depending on camera type — our technician will advise at the free site survey.
With 8 cameras at 5MP recording in motion-detection mode with H.265 compression, a 2TB HDD stores approximately 20–30 days of footage. For 24/7 continuous recording, expect 10–15 days. We can install 4TB HDD on request for longer retention.
Yes. All 8-channel NVR/DVR systems support multiple simultaneous viewers. You can add family members, managers or security staff to the mobile app — each with their own access. Some DVRs support up to 8 simultaneous mobile connections.
AMC is 10% of package price per year: 5-camera (₹12,499) → ₹1,250/yr; 6-camera (₹15,999) → ₹1,600/yr; 7-camera (₹18,499) → ₹1,850/yr; 8-camera (₹21,999) → ₹2,200/yr. Includes annual health check, cleaning, DVR audit, cable check and priority service.
Yes — we install full IP PoE systems for offices, showrooms and schools. PoE cameras receive both power and data through a single CAT6 cable from the NVR, resulting in a cleaner installation with fewer cables. We supply Hikvision, CP Plus and V380 PoE cameras.
